I'm using the following limits and homing setup: #####Proximity sensors 12mm diameter (printed brackets) - Y1 home and limit: proximity sensor triggers when 12mm from printed bracket - Y2 home and limit: proximity sensor triggers when 12mm from printed bracket - X home and limit: proximity sensor triggers when 12mm from printed bracket - X limit +: proximity sensor triggers when 12mm from printed bracket #####Mechanical switches - Z - (printed bracket): mechanical switch triggers when gantry reaches bottom position - Z + (aluminum bracket): mechanical switch triggers when gantry reaches top position I defined soft limits for all axes to prevent crashes and damage. The Y brackets are designed with PETG filament for added durability, as PLA might be prone to cracking. Other brackets use PLA material. Reducing homing speed is necessary due to the proximity sensors on aluminum for Y1 and Y2, which limit sensing distance. Fast homing can cause crashes before gantry stops if not slowed down.
