The Ritter Class Sturmzeppelin is the most common airship utilized by the Imperial and Royal military. When introduced it primarily served as a logistical vehicle, ferrying munitions between fortified strongpoints, but then gained a niche application as a transport and combat craft for special forces, such as the elite panzergrenadiers or the jump pack equipped "Zeppelinjagers". Its versatility had made it well respected, even if its armaments were somewhat lacking.
