The human head is a sculpture of a holy bishop, carefully crafted from Lime wood with visible hints of green polychromy on the mitre. It originates from Kumla church in Västmanland, and it's highly likely that this Bishop´s head once belonged to a complete sculpture that was missing from Kumla Church but now resides at Västmanlands museum. Local artisans likely created it during the late 15th century.
