Check the dimension in the picture, and adjust the size to fit your pistol and flashlight (I tested it with airsoft glock17 and ppq both with surefire x300 replica, and it worked great) what you need for assembly m3 bolts : 3ea m3 nut : 1ea small spring : 1ea (It's just an example. Check the dimensions in the picture, and use whatever fits!) The airsoft guns i'm using are both made of metal and they weighs about 800grams. And it didn't fail for past 3month of usage so i think the design is solid.(mine was printed in abs) (but if you are gonna use it for real guns, you are doing it at your own risk) The release button works by holding the back end of the flash light
