Holotape Remix (separate parts) with LED
cults3d
This is a remix of Endogladry's nice work and inspired by Zapwizard: http://www.zapwizard.com/blog/fallout-4-holotape-prop-version/ This model breaks down into separate parts for easy printing, eliminating the need for painting. A hole for a standard 3mm LED has been incorporated, allowing for simple connection to two small button cells (1.5V each). A classic 3V button battery such as a CR2025 or 3032 would also work effectively. To activate the LED, I added a 56 ohms resistor and connected it to an Arduino kit's hidden switch, which is cleverly disguised as a grey button in the corner. For those without access to a 3D printer, I've made the Sketchup file available for download. If you're interested in purchasing one of these holotapes, they can be found on Etsy: http://etsy.me/2pgt8a3
