Hololens Spectator View Mount
thingiverse
A friend had acquired a Microsoft HoloLens unit and asked me to fabricate the SpectatorView mount, which I'd seen on Github. https://github.com/Microsoft/MixedRealityCompanionKit/tree/master/SpectatorView Since I didn't have access to a CNC milling machine, creating it using my 3D printer became the primary challenge. Upon examining the designs provided on Github, I identified several areas that could be improved or modified to better suit my needs. Specifically: 1. My 3D printer's maximum build area is 210mm x 210mm. 2. Printing as many parts as possible in-house would eliminate the need for purchasing additional components. 3. The mount should be easy to use and operate. 4. Quick interchangeability of components was a must-have feature. 5. Additional mounting options for accessories were necessary.
