Four-meter trench excavated in the toe of Mound A at the Hollywood mound site in Tunica County, Mississippi. The trench exposes a sequence of deposits that include natural levee sand, distinct episodes of fill, a mound-building event, a midden sprawling along the flank of the small mound, and multiple construction phases of Mound A. This 3D trench model was generated using Visual SfM software and refined with Meshlab tools.
