Hollow Star Christmas Ornament

Here is a second Christmas ornament, with only one spiral arm encasing a Moravian star inside. This is a wonderful decoration for the holidays, as well as a perfect small gift for someone (provided you can make it past the support removal phase...). I would recommend a clear coating applied after all of the post processing, the first picture shows a comparison of uncoated vs coated, at least in Loctite IND405 clear. The other pictures show how it can look when placed in front of a tree's Christmas lights, but it was very difficult to capture the real thing. These were printed nearly upside down, with the ring pointed almost downward, using supports only on the star and the solid bits. Be careful on removing supports from the star, as its attachment to the rest of the ornament is very fragile. If many people have trouble with it, then I can add some material to make the file safer to handle. I hope you enjoy!
