Hollow Knight Mini Fig

For the past month, I've been completely hooked on Hollow Knight (yeah, late to the party), an incredible 2D Metroidvania by Team Cherry, and after 15 minutes of gazing at our little silent hero, I told myself, I'm head over heels in love. I didn't see it coming, but the charming design of the little knight got under my skin, so then I decided that I wanted to make a 3D print so I could display it proudly on my desk. Luckily, the overall design of the character is pretty easy to replicate, and with a few references for scale and shape, I got straight to work. I decided that I wanted to make every part separately in the intended color and assemble them later, with the only post-processing necessary being painting the black details of the eyes. My first print had two minor issues: the neck was too short and the sword hole wasn't big enough. The hole was pretty easy to fix with a Dremel tool and the smallest possible mill bit. The neck was usable, but I ended up enlarging it to hold the head securely in place. I sent the file for printing at a shop, so I don't remember the exact printing time or settings, but I do know that the sword and cape were printed on rafts, so take note of that. In the end, the design credits go to Team Cherry, they created an amazing game with a stunning world and art. I just made a model and hold no rights over the character. I hope you enjoy it!
