Unlike VeryWetPaint's sleek hollow sphere (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3068), this design is more straightforward. I utilize it as an acoustic reflector to transform a directional ultrasonic receiver into an omnidirectional one. The STL features a 7.5 cm diameter. The supports, 1 mm thick (2 layers), might not scale down flawlessly. However, the shape can be scaled easily and support adjustments made in 123d. Raftless printing is possible, but unconfirmed; remove support rings if desired. Combine two printed spheres using your preferred welding method or adhesive to achieve a perfect sphere.
