Hollow Emporer Palpatine's Cane

I took Emperor Palpatine's iconic cane from Thingiverse and gave it a major makeover. I hollowed out the original design and inserted a sturdy 1/4 inch steel rod, reinforced with fiberglass resin, to make it strong enough for everyday use as well as a prop for cosplay. To get the best results, I recommend drilling out the puzzle pieces first, then inserting the steel or aluminum rod, and finally pouring in some resin to give it the necessary stiffness. With this modification, you can lean on it without worrying about it bending excessively. For those with smaller printers, don't worry - I've got you covered! I reduced the original design to 12 1/2 pieces, making it much easier to print each half, glue them together, pour in the resin, and insert the rod before finally gluing both halves securely.
