myminifactory
Human: Ancient craftsmen carefully shaped a thick-butted greenstone axe from Hallsberg parish in Närke, Sweden. Hollow-edged axes are most commonly associated with the Battle Axe Culture of the Middle Neolithic period, dating back to around 2700-2300 BC. These early tools were likely used for intricate wood-working tasks. 3D scanning was courtesy of Xenter 3D technician Midori Åstrand. This exceptional artifact was meticulously scanned by Historiska, The Swedish History Museum's expert team.
