UPDATE: I'm putting one of the prototypes to the test on my own hands https://youtu.be/h11Pgs4eig8?list=PLWdNepxbVSevgkNgl40-2KrShL6wxJdz4 So, version 5 is in the queue for printing - I'm holding out hope that it will work flawlessly without a hitch. Update (05th May 2015) - Unfortunately, my initial design fell flat on its face; I'm now preparing to move forward with an entirely new prototype and cast it using conventional methods to replace the failed one. Going forward, next time I'll opt for a more robust design that mirrors robotic hand patterns, however, I will maintain the 3D scanned model as a baseline.
