Hollies hand test texture
thingiverse
Updated: Updated hand to hollow. Here's a texture test using the recent scan of Hollis' hand, where I fixed several issues and opened up the fingers. The images I used for texturing were from about six months earlier and had some heavy shadowing, so not ideal for texturing. I hope to get some better photos soon. I intend to make this into a passive hand for now, so I will be using a full-color 3D printer. These are quite fragile, so I'll likely reinforce it with resin and a silicone outer layer. In fact, the image I've added of the broken antibody model is made of just this material with an added layer of colorless RTV silicone added. It works quite well and definitely removes the grainy, fragile feeling of the print. Later on, I will hope to add colored sheaths to the Anthromod V2.0 prosthetic model. Of course, trying to get these printed costs time and money. A way that you can help me is to donate to www.gofundme.com/prosthetic-hand.
