Holland No.5 Submarine
sketchfab
The Holland No 5 submarine stands as a testament to our nation's rich naval legacy. Commissioned on January 19th, 1903, it marked a milestone in the Royal Navy, coinciding with the introduction of its counterpart, Holland 3. Meanwhile, Hollands 1, 2 and 4 underwent renovations at that time. The Holland class submarines swiftly became outdated and by 1912, Holland 5 was condemned for scrapping, being towed to Sheerness when it encountered disaster and sank at its current site approximately six miles southeast of the Royal Sovereign Lighthouse in Sussex, England.
