Holiday Penguins
thingiverse
Here are my holiday penguins! I've discovered that they shine brightest when tiny and abundant, and they're irresistibly charming with hats and scarves. I'm printing out a batch right now and plan to scatter them throughout my home. The initial version was one solitary piece, but then I brought it to life by coloring the body black and the feet and beak orange with a sharpie. Next, I dissected each section so that they could be printed separately in different colors and assembled together. The feet click into place within the body, while the beak secures the white belly onto the rest of the body, although some adhesive is still recommended. I included both versions of the model, allowing you to choose between printing it as one piece and coloring it or printing each section separately. I printed both sections of the body upright. They demand a lot of support material, but removing it is relatively easy.
