This is the most intricate design I've ever created, and it may appear deceptively simple at first glance, but trust me, there's a lot of intricate geometry going on behind the scenes. To create this printable model, numerous separate pieces had to be carefully crafted to fit together seamlessly. The original concept was born from an architect's vision of a building composed of multiple curved stories, so I made some significant modifications to that foundation design and eventually arrived at this version. It took 19 hours and 20 minutes to print using a layer height of 0.200 mm and a print speed of 80 mm/sec. The lamp is specifically designed for an LED "puck" light. You can find affordable battery-operated lights online, with prices starting at around $4 each; just search for "LED puck light" on your favorite search engine to explore various options. If you're looking for wall-powered lights that are brighter and more reliable, I recommend checking out the resources listed on this blog page: http://birkbinnard.com/blog/wall-powered-led-lights/.
