The pieces of plastic in the video most definitely do not comprise a firearm. This is simply a desktop toy, designed to function as a single hole punch that can effortlessly punch through two sheets of paper at once. Think of this design as an elaborate hole punch that brings functionality and simplicity together in perfect harmony. Consequently, it shares the same trigger design, as well as a similar sear design. I discovered that using the piece of filament as the spring to reset the sear was a poor idea, so I made the necessary adjustments to enable a rubber band to be attached for assistance in resetting the sear. The current model weighs in at 50.1 grams and costs approximately $0.75 to manufacture. This printed model pictured is the third version of the hole punch, comprising five essential components: the pins, the bolt, the receiver, the trigger, and the sear. This project is not yet complete, with the bolt head being too short to effectively punch through paper, and the rubber band being incorrectly wrapped around the gun. Instead, it should be attached near the muzzle. UPDATE: The fourth revision of the bolt has successfully addressed the issue of the punch part being too short. Additionally, the trigger and sear have undergone modifications, with a plan in place for the fourth revision of the receiver to feature a trigger guard. As a result, the trigger has been shortened, and the sear now features a small notch cut into it to accommodate the rubber band, reducing friction. UPDATE 2: The fifth revision of the bolt effectively prevents the first forward pin from being broken off and adds a second pin hole on top for larger rubber bands.
