Hole Punch Guide for Face Shield
thingiverse
This is a hole punch guide for the face shield model distributed by Budmen Industries to combat COVID-19. This guide fits 9"x11.5" 5 mil or 3 mil thermal lamination pouches and will work for 8.5"x11" binding covers as well, but the holes will be offset by a half inch. They will still line up, but the shield will be slightly longer on one side - this can be remedied by inserting a half inch wide by .5mm thick sliver of PLA or whatever is on hand. Please help support the cause many of us are coming out of pocket to produce this equipment. If you have funds available to donate find me on Facebook: @ZedAxisLLC or donate directly to my campaign here https://gf.me/u/xsu2qh. Budmen Industries is using their infrastructure to connect people who need this equipment with people who can make it and they are absorbing the cost of doing so. They have their own GoFundMe here https://www.gofundme.com/f/3d-face-shields-for-health-care-workers?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link-tip&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet. If you can donate to either campaign please do so. We all know that resources aren't free. If you would like to join the effort as a producer or if you work in healthcare and need face shields you can register on their site here https://budmen.com/.
