Hole Plugs for Da Vinci Printers

These small plastic inserts take up the empty space inside your XYZPrinting Da Vinci 1.0 / 1.0A / 2.0 3D printer to stop objects from falling onto it's floor. The plug models I am using are slightly varied, featuring openings so that you can stash away supplies such as UHU glue sticks and small cutting tools. Here is some important information: Length: 1.496" Width: 1.496" Height: 0.787" Each of these little plastic inserts weighs only around 0.02 pounds when including the bottom plate. If you'd like to get your hands on them, I have uploaded a zip file containing all four designs below. The plug model (PTW-00-1-PT-0190-XXX) comes with the UHU glue stick holder and two small cutting tools attached. File Description • Plug model without any cutout: PTW-00-1-PT-0190-000 • Plug featuring just one cut-out hole, used for a UHU glue stick storage container. - PTW-00-1-PT-0190-001 • This STL file holds the shape and size of an actual glue stick holder plate. PTW-00-1-PT-0190-002 • File containing tool-holes that store various tools including a cutter. PTW-00-1-PT-0190-003 • Holder designed specifically to fit tools, also known as the ToolABase plate - PTW-00-1-PT-0190-004 For the record I've borrowed some concepts and ideas from an online source, but not actual designs or 3D printer models. Now that you know about the parts and have access to their .stl file, follow these simple instructions: Print both of these plugs as well as the corresponding base plates out of your plastic using any preferred 3d printing method, at high quality with minimum detail, until the desired level of completion is achieved. If it's difficult getting a precise fit between them, scrape away some material on one of the plug or on both before assembling. Make use of acetone to securely bond ABS plastic base plate inserts with glue using an industrial adhesive if needed for more stability when fitting onto their holes on either 1 0 / . The final piece can now be placed in one end or in a suitable corner depending on personal preference after testing out the first installation process. To make the best use of your newly-made UHU stick and tools, store them within these inserts as shown in images below to complete assembly of printer floor accessories!
