Hole Fitment Guide
thingiverse
Here's a nifty little tool I created to help discover just how large a hole you need to make in your 3D printed parts. It consists of one plate and one 5mm diameter peg, which can be inserted into the holes. The peg that fits will tell you exactly what size hole is required to accommodate it perfectly. This handy tool comes in very useful for creating either snugly fitting parts or components that slide smoothly into each other, making it easy to determine the actual difference in size. For my own purposes, I've found that the part hole needs to be +0.3mm in order for a piece to fit properly. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
