I'm really fond of these pill dispensers; I just wish they had a place in my house. For the base, I used some washers, specifically 2* ~38.8 x 38.8 x 3.6mm to give it some mass: - With a cavity, 5% infill: 15.06g - With a cavity, 100% infill: 22.5g - Without a cavity, 5% infill: 10.98g - Without a cavity, 100% infill: 36.11g - With random metal inserts, 5% infill: 86.2g I simply added pauses to the right z-height, so I could add washers. You can try printing holders without support; I printed mine with supports. I haven't printed a dual holder yet, but it should turn out okay. As for the joint, if you like, you can use glue.
