Toilet paper rolls are normally just attached by their base to a small fixture mounted on the back of a bathroom door or on the inside of a door or directly to the floor itself so as not to obstruct door opening. However, some users prefer the more discreet look and simplicity that comes with pasting the roll onto the wall adjacent to the toilet seat, usually on the same wall that contains the toilet paper dispenser, rather than being bolted in place on a nearby wall which may make the entire setup slightly bulky in appearance.
