Holder for Z-axis alignment bars for Wanhao Di3
thingiverse
I stumbled upon the z-axis alignment bars (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1374915) by Coder-Tronics and found them incredibly useful, but I needed a secure place to store them. So, I came up with this simple solution that would keep everything organized. The cut-out for the bars is intentionally narrow in front, requiring a slight bend of the sides to slide them into place. This design ensures they sit snugly and securely, reducing any potential movement or shifting. Assuming standard PLA will suffice, I used PLA Plus due to its flexibility requirement. PETG would also be an excellent choice for this project, offering similar benefits. To attach the holder to the Di3 frame, I relied on Gorilla mounting tape for a strong and reliable bond.
