Holder for X10 Clock

Holder for X10 Clock

I made this item a couple years ago as a custom stand designed specifically to hold a digital clock in place, elevating it so its display is easier to read while lying in bed. While I doubt many users will find it useful for the same reason, it can still be scaled or cut up if you see potential value in something like this. Just keep in mind that scaling the frame's dimensions in both X and Y directions will distort the angle of the front edge. The files include one half of the frame and three splints used to reinforce the joint between the two halves held together with CA glue. The second half of the stand is created by mirroring the STL file for the left half. I scaled up the .STL files 10 times, except for a single long straight splint that ties the back feet together - it had to be scaled down to 0.1 to match the size shown in the photos. One splint has an angled edge designed to fit snugly into the model's back inner edge, while another short straight splint stiffens the glue joint at the stand's front bottom side. The long straight splint ties the frame together at its rear feet, but I found it wasn't necessary for my purposes and likely won't be needed for most applications either.
