Holder for swapping lenses caps

The project resolves the most prevalent conflict between requirements for operation with multiple camera lenses: ensuring safe and convenient fixing of removed caps, preventing loss during connection to the camera, and facilitating fast and simple swapping of lenses without interrupting photography. Designed specifically for my two lenses, a mid-long Nikkor 18-105 mm with a filter thread size of 67 mm and a wide-angle Sigma 10-20 mm with an 82 mm filter thread, the holder allows for seamless operation. The slider is securely fixed in its saddle via a dovetail joint and magnet pairs. One side of the dovetail features a half-length design, enabling blind insertion and smooth sliding motion. The optimal performance is achieved when two pairs of magnets are oriented oppositely on the holder saddle relative to their position on the slider. Standard replacement caps with anti-loss strings were used, and a plate with a pair of slider saddles was mounted on each cap to prevent hitches during transport in camera bags. This design allows for quick lens swapping without visual inspection, saving valuable time. One magnet pair is sufficient for this purpose. The kit includes 5 printed parts: the holder, two plates for 67 and 82 mm caps, and two sliders for each cap. Additional components required include: * Caps with secure strings for 67 and 82 mm filter threads * Four rounded magnets measuring 4x1 mm * Six rounded magnets measuring 6x1.2 mm * Eight plastic screws with dimensions of 2.5x9 mm
