Holder for Paranoia Cube

Holder for Paranoia Cube

I created the Paranoia Cube as a thoughtful gift and wanted to hold it together securely while showcasing its intricate assembly process for the recipient. To do so, I designed a simple two-part holder that allows the cube to be easily put together and displayed. To 3D print this holder, use the following settings: start with an empty infill and one outer shell, then add two or three solid bottom layers. Leave out the top layer entirely. I employed T-Glase (PET) material and adjusted the printer settings according to MatterSlice's "Spiral vase" preset, which produces a continuous print from base to apex. The specified dimensions should yield an optimal friction fit on most printers with precise calibration. However, due to varying printer models and settings, these measurements might not be entirely accurate for your device. Fortunately, this holder is composed of just two boxes that can be effortlessly resized according to individual needs and preferences. This basic setup will likely provide a good starting point, and you may even be able to get it right on the first try!
