The new eBook-Reader Kobo Aura One boasts a stunning wide screen, but its equally broad case makes it extremely difficult for people with average-sized hands to hold the reader in one hand without experiencing considerable discomfort. This specially designed holder enables users to conveniently grasp the reader using only one hand. I have attached two separate files for the holder, catering to both left and right-handed individuals. These designs are mere mirror images of each other, ensuring that they function identically regardless of handedness. Additionally, a combined version is available for those who prefer to hold the reader with either their left or right hand. Print one holder and two clips using the following settings: Printer: FlashForge Dreamer Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 100% Notes: Supports are only required as a small wall underneath the hooks that hold the reader (refer to the attached picture). Avoid generating supports within the slots that secure the clips, as they can be bridged by a well-calibrated printer without issues. Print with 100% infill for enhanced stability. Post-Printing: If your printer is properly calibrated, you won't need to perform any sanding, filing, or gluing to attach the clips to the holder. They will fit snugly within the slots. For added security, use a piece of hook-and-loop tape or an adjustable slipknot-band to secure the holder to your hand. Be cautious not to pull it too tight – it should only prevent the reader from tipping over. Custom Section Unfortunately, I've discovered that hundreds of models shared on Thingiverse are being sold on eBay without respecting the CC license under which they were originally shared. The Vero-Team from eBay refuses to acknowledge Thingiverse or MakerBot as legitimate corporations and disregards the CC-license as a valid agreement. Thingiverse itself advises against taking action, suggesting instead that users engage in fruitless discussions with the parasitic sellers or seek legal counsel to address this issue. In light of these circumstances, I'm forced to remove my models from the platform. If you're interested in acquiring the files, please contact me directly.
