As my phone's GPS is outdated, I've opted to download Google Maps on a device that doesn't rely on it - my 12-year-old GPS system is now redundant. Since using the phone for navigation is inconvenient, I prefer the larger screen of a mini iPad for its ease of use and better visibility. This adapter holds the mini iPad in place, making it easy to position for navigation. The adjustable holder offers a 30-degree view angle and can be set to fit a mini iPad 4's thickness - both measurements can be customized along with other specifications within the OpenSCAD file. Two small indented squares allow for Velcro fasteners to be inserted, providing stability for the device. This design was initially created for Honda CRV owners but can be easily adapted for most vehicle makes and models. Additionally, it can serve as a desktop stand for an iPad.
