You can go into it's setting and change the display mode to read directly off the unit. I want place the HUD near to the normal car speedo. So i made this holder and used following parts seen in the photos. The extensions - Modular Mounting System - Arm Straight V4 by jtronics - Thingiverse - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3689842 The Cable tie base, to sit on the steering column. - Zip Tie GoPro Mount Rotated 90 by chevybad4u - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4424516 - Not the best mount for my needs. I put a bit of felt under to stop it marking and slipping. - lots of other mounts you could use, just search Thingiverse. I already had this part one printed.
