Inspired by the innovative design on Thingiverse, I crafted a novel holder with only three strategic points of support and constraint in the y-axis, limiting them to the first guide to minimize potential errors caused by misaligned guides. Two precision screws, M4 in size, securely fasten the dial gauge in place, while two strategically placed holes allow for effortless insertion of strong magnets, similar to those found in this Amazon product: B003MWAIUK.
