The spool is composed of 2 parts (47gr and 29gr), one supporting the majority of the filament weight, reinforced on the 3 pivots that will hold the central recycled cardboard, with passages to cut the collars, the other being a snap-on flange for locking. There is even a small passage for fingers to remove it easily. I've done dozens of manipulations to make sure that the clipping remains correct. it remains completely correct! In order to save weight and for the aesthetic side, I chose to represent the symbol of recycling (the 3 circular arrows) which in my opinion, shows well the revalorization side of the product. (filament>impression/object>recycling/filament) Otherwise, the choice to keep the "standard" shape of a spool is made on use. It is quite possible to use the horizontal spool support, vertical with central hub or vertical on Dagoma bearing support for example. For printing purposes, the filling is irrelevant and does not affect the total weight. Therefore, a 0.20mm printout works perfectly for this spool.
