Holden VL Commodore
thingiverse
This is a 3D model of a Holden VL Commodore. I mixed the wheel from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:202311 onto a chassis model I found online. The body model was fairly rough but I've managed to smooth out most of the edges and I think I have designed to wheels to be able to spin once printed. At the moment I'm trying to print with supports but if there's someone out there who can remix this so you can print without supports, that would be great!! Instructions This is a work in progress and I haven't printed it yet 11/7/2014: I printed this laying on the side door using the following settings. Model turned out great!! The front wheels are easy to get spinning but the rear wheels are a little close to the chassis and had the be freed with a bit of scalpel work. Wheels and axles spin free, and even at 5% infill, the car feels sturdy. No overhang issues at all!! Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Nozzle: 205C Platform: 60C Layer: 0.2mm Material: PLA Infill: 5% line pattern Shells: 2 Raft: No Support: Skeinforge (outside only)
