This replacement build plate support and clamps are designed for UP! series printers, featuring a larger MIC6 aluminum plate with tapped holes on the edge. A plastic clip assembly in ABS is printed and installed with a 3mm dia x 15mm lg hinge pin at the front of the plate. Rear edge clips are also printed in ABS and installed at the rear. Secure all parts using (7x) M3 x 20 SHCS. Cover the glass (2mm thick x 5.5 x 6.5) with Kapton tape and slide it into the rear fixed clips, locking the front clip into position for easy removal and clearance to the nozzle tip. Added build plate corner guides prevent sliding in the Y direction. The user has reported successful installation even at high build temperatures.
