Hold-down clamp for Prusa i3 Acrylic
thingiverse
Make a simple clamp to hold down and stop vibrations on your Prusa i3 Acrylic, similar to the one from Geeetech. Attach six clamps over the M10 threaded rods and secure them with bolts. Use washers under each screw head for extra grip. Position two clamps in front of the foremost acrylic plate, two at the back, and two in the center behind the large central frame. If your clamps don't press down on the rods due to oversized prints, try adding thick tape like Duck Tape. Apply multiple layers of tape until the rods are securely held in place. I admit I got a bit carried away with this explanation... Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 C Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: any Infill: 20%
