I just created my very first lithopane from start to finish, starting by transforming photos into svg files with Inkscape and subsequently loading those svg files directly into Blender. As it turns out, many details were inevitably sacrificed during the printing process itself; consequently, a bigger print job would most certainly yield far superior results.
