Find the latest Hog Stretcher pre-made at https://HonestPE.etsy.com/ An upgraded version of the original Hog Stretcher, now with a soft base cushion and accurate tension scales (up to 20 lbs). More improvements: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tOdEvhuso0 You will need a soldering iron, a multi-color printer, and printer capable of printing soft TPE. Printing: Use a strong material. I use Nylon 6-66 (CoPA). Use lots of walls for optimal strength (I use 5 or 6). Use a very soft TPE for the base cushion (I use Ninjaflex). You will need to make your own tension markings depending on the type of springs you use. Parts: Springs: This comes down to personal choice, depending on how much tension you use. Inner diameter should be > 6mm and outer < 10mm. The specific springs I use only come in bulk, so but I found this spring with a similar stiffness (0.31 vs 0.315 lbs/mm) and length (65 vs 68mm): https://www.mcmaster.com/8969T811/. May need to stack a few washers under them to make the scale start at 0 since they are slightly shorter, or tweak the model.
