A Spacer for the Hofner Verythin Deluxe Potentiometers The Problem: Stock Knobs Not Aligned My Hofner Verythin Deluxe had a problem - the stock knobs were not evenly spaced from the body. Some knobs were too high, while one was even touching the body. This made it difficult to work with. When I removed the electronics (a tough process that requires removing the pots from the f-holes), I discovered that Hofner used a grover washer and another screw nut as spacers between the potentiometers and the body. I decided to create my own spacer to replace these parts. I designed a custom spacer that fits perfectly on the stock potentiometers, correcting the height issue. When installed with a grover washer on top, the knobs are now aligned and do not touch the body. This solution has worked for me, but I cannot guarantee it will work for all Verythin Deluxe models, as the shaft/height of the potentiometers may vary. This spacer is easy to print, taking only 2 minutes. It's worth a try if you're experiencing similar issues with your Hofner Verythin Deluxe.
