The origination of this puzzle can be traced back to Hoffmann's 1893 book Puzzles Old and New, later featured in Martin Gardner's Scientific American column in the late 70s/early 80s. It was a popular pastime in my childhood, often made with balsa wood. Despite its now-familiar solution, it remains challenging. A disassembly video is available at http://youtu.be/8Efjz7pOQqU. The STL files for 3D printing offer a relaxed fit on the Cube printer by 3D Systems, with an extra 0.01" clearance. Blender files are provided for both the relaxed-fit pieces and the ideal-width ones. Don't forget to rotate pieces E and F flat before printing.
