This is freelance, generic loco based loosely on images of German Fedlbahn Mallett locomotives for 3.5mm:ft / 4mm:ft 1:87 / 1:76 scale models. It uses the Rokuhan SA001-1 Z Shorty as a donor chassis which is widely available. For HO / HOe / 00 / 009 modellers, please note these use a 9V power supply, not the usual 12. HOf is smaller than HOe / 009 which use N-gauge width track and instead use Z-gauge track, but still represent the same scale, making them an excellent addition to larger layouts. The only commercially available HOf locomotives to date are from Busch, are extremely expensive and have very rudimenary control systems, so this model should be a more viable alternative for many.
