Hoenir - Airsoft Ballistic Knife
thingiverse
Hi All, This project rocks, and it's a ballistic knife that's a blast - the blade shoots out of the handle like magic! To build one, you'll need a compression spring with a diameter of 10mm, compressed to 30mm, and expanding to around 70mm or more. I used springs from an old Well bipod (there are two in each leg). Secure the spring to the bottom of the handle using epoxy or hot glue. You'll also need a 25mm M3 screw for this project. For the blade, you can either print it directly with flexible filament - just be sure to follow safety guidelines when shooting at objects! Alternatively, print the blade mold and assemble it with M3 screws before casting flexible resin inside to create a safe, flexible blade. I've made about 20 blades using this method without any issues. If you like my work, hit that follow button! If you're feeling generous, consider tipping me.
