Hocus Pocus Book of Spells Arduino Voice Activated Prop This is a project I undertook for a Halloween 2018 prop to go with my family's dress-up as the 3 Sanderson Sisters. I used the Sea Lemon tutorial to do a lot of the book design outside of the 3D models used, and I switched out the stitches to real hemp cord instead of puffy paint. I made holes for the stitching using my trusty Weller soldering iron after the paper mache and painting were done and came back in with paint to clean up the burnt areas. I had to alter the animatronic eye design slightly due to space issues fitting the eye close to the opening of the book. I changed files included with this project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtngRH-ttK8 Credits: Animatronic Eye Mech by sideburn: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:319978 Original Snakes, Front Clasp, and Hinge 3D models by Designs by Phil: http://www.designsbyphil.com/halloween-file-share.html Check his page out; he's a nice guy who gave me permission to post my changes to his original design here.
