I created this from scratch and added some improvements along the way. To start, I designed a plug piece that fits into a stick and seats against a shoulder to provide a smooth transition from the stick to the 3D printed end. Additionally, I rounded off the edges of the top piece by adding a round-over feature. Update - 07/17.2018 V3 is now available! This update includes some small but useful changes. I tweaked the plugs so they taper and are easier to insert into the stick. I hope you all enjoy this version! Update - 07/01.2018 This is the ready-to-print version of the design. Please note that the pieces fit snugly together, so you may need to file down the inside of the stick for everything to slide in smoothly. Some helpful tips: -Cut as close to the end of the stick as possible. As you move further down the stick, it starts to taper and the pieces don't fit as well. -For optimal results, print all three pieces, lay them out together, and then measure from the ledge to determine the correct length. Cut the two shorter pieces to match exactly, assemble them, and then cut the bottom piece. -I have included a printable cut guide that you can use to mark the stick with a crayon or marker. This guide is roughly half an inch away from the side of the slot, so you can measure out half an inch and apply masking tape to the stick. The cut guide will fit snugly against this tape as you make your cut. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to let me know! Enjoy!
