This 3D model originated from a sketch created with Sketchup 8 before being translated into other 3D file types. Its native format remains .skp, while the 3dsmax scene was crafted in 2016 using 3ds Max and rendered with Vray 3.00. German scouts construct their encampments with traditional modular tents built from one distinctive pentagonal tarpaulin and three various rectangular types. This modularity allows for nearly boundless innovation in tent designs, even entire city-sized assemblies of linked tents. Principal tents comprise the Kroete, an adaptable shelter made from a single pentagonal tarpaulin known as the "toad," the Lokomotive, formed by two such units named after locomotion, the Kohte consisting of four "hubs" or bases, and the Jurte featuring six "hills" composed of 6 pentagons plus six distinct rectangles.
