This update marks the beginning of a new series of Hobo coins, building upon my initial collection. For those unfamiliar with the backstory, Hobo nickels are a form of folk art where artists carve intricate designs into buffalo nickels and share them as gifts. However, these unique pieces can be quite pricey. A vibrant artist community continues to create coins in the style of Hobo nickels, paying homage to this distinctive cultural heritage. My own project aims to make these art pieces accessible to everyone by offering affordable options that still capture the essence of the original Hobo nickels. Each coin features the iconic "Hobo Junction" logo on the back, a nod to the group I founded to preserve and celebrate hobo culture. This collection will continue to grow over time as new designs are added.
