Hobie Lynx H-Rail Spacer

This spacer is designed for the Hobie Lynx. Currently, Hobie's h-rail kit can cause damage to the hull of the kayak when installed (see pictures). This is due to a gap in the material between the hull and the L bracket for the h-rail. The molded insert and hull material can begin to pull upward into this gap as the bracket is screwed in during installation. This spacer is designed to fill the gap, creating a flush mounting surface. Ideally Hobie solves this issue in the near future, but until then hopefully this spacer will help prevent damage to your kayak's hull. This part was originally designed by Jarl Jensen. Dimensions were posted to the Hobie Lynx owners' facebook group. I re-created the part from his specs and posted the part here for easier access.
