**** V2 **** This is version 2 of the previous H-Rail mount featuring a 1.5" Ball. The hinges have been reworked and the mounting plate has undergone significant refinement, while the keying hex feature has been incorporated. The 1.5" Ball Mount system fits perfectly on the standard Hobie H-Rail and utilizes a 1.5" 'Ball style' mount. Three pieces of Stainless Steel Metric hardware are used along with three corresponding nuts: One M8 x 55mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolt paired with one M8 Stainless Steel Lock-Nut for securing the Ball. One M6 x 30mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolt accompanied by one M6 Stainless Steel Lock-Nut for tightening the Mount. One M4 x 50mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolt coupled with one M4 Stainless Steel Lock-Nut for attaching the Hinge. The 'Mount side' boasts a 'keyed hex' for locking the Ball to prevent rotation once accessories are mounted, while the 1.5" Ball itself features this keying hex. For additional support, please refer to the provided pictures. Printed in PLA with four perimeters and an infill of seventy percent 'Grid' pattern at a resolution of 0.2mm (Resolution selection is optional). When using PLA, the Ball will require 'rubberizing'. You may choose to paint it with your preferred rubberized paint or opt for 'Heat shrink', as I do, to achieve this effect. Be cautious when applying heat to the Ball, as it may become soft. A flash of heat from a heat gun works best.
