Hoberman Sphere

Hoberman Sphere

thingiverse

Johan Wood designed the Hoberman Sphere in Norway. The files were downloaded from Amsterdam Fablab's website (http://fablab.waag.org/) and modified to suit 5mm MDF before being uploaded on our site (http://fablab.ccsti-grenoble.org/node/33). This awesome design deserves more visibility, so I thought of sharing it here. To create this sphere, use the provided PDF that lists the required pieces and cut them using 3 sheets of 5mm MDF in an Epilog EXT 36 lasercutter. Assemble the hubs with lines facing each other while forming hexagons and triangles (it's an icosahedron). Share your pictures if you made one!
