Hoberman 1/4 circle
thingiverse
The current project is just the beginning, featuring an impressive design that merits sharing. This iteration boasts larger pins and fewer trusses for enhanced stability. Despite fitting perfectly right off the printer, 3/12 pins still broke. The process for creating your own is straightforward; simply construct an even-sided polygon of desired radius, such as a 16-sided shape at 8 inches, resulting in beam angles of 22.5 degrees. A 24-sided polygon would yield 15-degree angles and so on. To complete a full circle, gather 16 of each component. The printing process follows the same parameters as my socket organizer.
