Hobbyking Skipper Cowl
thingiverse
I don't like the cooling setup of the standard Skipper cowl so I designed one that properly feeds cooling air through the motor. The first part of that process was doing a version of the original cowl in Solidworks to check I had the geometry correct - this is complete with the original 33mm spinner ring, which is a size you can't get spinners for! I've loaded it here in case anyone manages to break the original and wants to make a replacement. I will load my preferred version (with better cooling and a more useful 30mm spinner ring) as soon as I have checked the fit. I would say "check out my other designs", but there aren't any (yet) so don't bother. If you have any queries you can find me in the skipper thread on RCG.
